KORT MCCUMBER: Somewhere To Go 2000 "Somewhere To Go" is my first recording. The lyrics and music exemplify where I was at that time in my life. I just turned 22 years old, and I realized that music was everything to me. I recorded this record in the fall of '99 at Mirror Image Studios in Gainesville, FL, with the help of producer Ronnie Cates. I was lucky enough to have some amazing musicians on this record, my mom and my sister included. After recording this record, my sister Beth started to perform live with me, logging many miles.
